Starts from Alum Rock Ave. in East San Jose and goes all the way up to Lick Observatory. The view is amazing and the drive is filled with twisty S-bends, hairpins, tight switchbacks and a few straights. One of the best roads in Northern California in my opinion. As a sidenote, if you wanted to you could even continue down San Antonio Road since Highway 130 ends at the top where the observatory is. Distance: 18.0 miles

One of the best driving roads in NorCal. A good mix of straights, long sweeping bends, tight S bends, and fantastic scenic views. |

Starts from the end of downtown Saratoga and stops at the Four Corners on the intersection of Highway 9 and 35 (Skyline Blvd.) A pretty short route, but plenty of hairpins and tight turns. Great for a quick spirited drive. Distance: 6.0 miles
